She is a professional makeup artist for all sorts of celebs and quite a quirky and funny blogger with incredibly unique style. I'm excited to say that SheenaEsque now has it's own shop on Etsy! It will be mainly consisting of handmade jewelry and accessories, but with have other handmade things as I discover new items to sell. I already have my Suede Bow Tie rings up and ready for purchase, and I have a few ideas in the works for more listings soon to come. 

I will be announcing every new item posted on there for my loyal followers so you all can get a heads up on the rest of the Etsy world ;) 

Just wanted to check in with you guys and say that the future is looking bright! 

I'm 24! Just got back from a five-day birthday vacation in Erie, PA. I had plans to stay in Courtney's spare room and just hang out with my friends the whole time I was up there. Thursday was the first whole day of my trip and my actual birthday. I woke up to a pink elephant cup on the coffee table and a note from Courtney telling me to have breakfast because it's the most important meal of the day. (Courtney wasn't getting home from work until 5:30) So I spent all day in pj's watching things on Netflix. She arrives home and tells me to get dressed because her and her boo (James) are taking me out to dinner. :) 
After being rushed out the door, and tricked into picking Torero's for dinner, we walk in to 6 of my other friends (plus two kiddos) at a table waiting for me with a cake and a huge balloon display. It was an awesome surprise and we all had a blast. The food was delicious, the people were great, the sangrias were yummy, and the knife we were given to cut the cake was HUGE! :) Just want to thanks all my friends who showed up: Tracy, Chris (and their adorable son Lucian), Don, Abby (and her entertaining daughter Elizabeth), Amanda, Jason, James, and Courtney! Love you all dearly!
Then Friday night, Courtney and I went out to Bacardie Joe's to celebrate a friend's birthday along with continuing my party lol. Let's just sum it up by saying it was intense. There was a run-in with an ex, a body shot, someone got pantsed, and we ended up at The Breakfast Place. 
Saturday night we had Amanda over for a pizza/pastries/movies night. It is always a good time when I hang out with either one of them, so put all three of us in a room and laughter will ensue. 
Sunday was a straight up LAZY DAY... we did NOTHING. Literally... sat on the couch just in recovery from the previous three days.
And last but not least, Monday. I packed up and headed over to Amanda's to hang out with her a little more and help her design her business card for her cake decorating operation. Then left for home :/

All in all, it was a very memorable birthday getaway. Below is a collection of some thing I got for my birthday, and after that are some pics of me and my friends. And before I go I just want to do another thanks to all of my Facebook friends who posted on my wall on Thursday! You all definitely kept me busy ;)

Now this announcement is a little early because we still have to get her set up and ready to go, however I am too excited to wait. :D

The above image shows three Christmas gifts I received from my two besties. I adore how they both know what I love. Photography, my pet iguana Harry Houdini, and elephants are my favorite animal. :) I know that the ring and necklace are from Charming Charlie, but I'm not sure where the earrings were purchased. If I find out, I will edit this post to let you know! 

Here is a gallery of some non-jewelry faves. First is Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast. Now the pic is of what I just created on my own, but here is a similar recipe I found. Next is two of my favorite games to occupy my time, solitaire and Words with Friends. I do have an app to play solitaire on my phone/tablet, but I prefer to play card games with actual cards unless I can't, then I turn to the apps. I just prefer to shuffle the cards myself and actually have something to do besides tapping a screen. I guess I'm like those people who prefer to read actual books instead of using a Kindle. lol. And don't even get me started on Words with Friends. This game is truly addicting and also makes you get frustrated. Which is the classic duo of traits made famous by Angry Birds, where the one who is the angriest is the person playing. (why even have the red birds now that you have all these types who kick some pig butt. and why don't we get rewarded with bacon after killing the evil pigs???) Anyways, Words is another way to feel less guilty about spending time with your face glued to your electronic devices because it's somewhat educational. 
And last but certainly not least, Roach the caterpillar. We had one of our trash bins fall over the other night. So I was picking up the mess and tossed the pizza box to the pile-o-trash and on the underside was this little bright green caterpillar. I was surprised to see him because we have had about 3 different snow falls, and this was shortly after the worst of them. I didn't think he was alive, but when I touched him, he moved. I decided to grab my brother's old bug holder and rescue him from his certain death this winter. You know how they say that when the world ends the only thing that will survive are roaches? So Roach it is then! He has been with us for about a week now and is thriving! He eats and crawls all over the place. He also has redecorated his place a little, making sure every thing is feng shui.

I was so tangled up in wrapping presents that I completely forgot to get all of my computer related tasks done. One of which is to get my blog on. So I didn't plan anything out for today. I know, I'm a party pooper. But I will use this post to not only say that I appreciate the love and support I've been getting and I hope you all will continue to spread the word of SheenaEsque to get others to check it out! My page views multiply every day and I'm loving it.
